Mine was for renewal last July, returned it first week in July, had a telephone assessment in march which was transferred to a paper based one as I was struggling with my asthma. I'm still waiting to find out . It's totally demoralising, I dread the postman coming and Iv been through a whole tribunal face 5 years ago which nearly killed me.
I hope you hear soon and that it's good news.

My council tax award says pip in receipt till August 22 , nothing from pip saying it was extended , so will be enquiring soon.
Payments have been paid too.
Hope this helps.
Stay safe.

Thanks howsboi, sorry you were struggling with your asthma.
I got mine on MR last time, so I'm also dreading it in case I have to do MR and/or tribunal again. The system is inhumane and this timescale is ridiculous.
Good luck

I sent mine in October and still haven't heard. They said it runs out in August and if I've not had it by then they will put 3 months extra on and basically keep doing that til they finally get to me. It's causing me so much stress and I'm not sure how much longer I can wait. I'm in desperate need of more support than I get now as I'm a lot worse than last time and I didn't get enough last time either.
Just makes me want to scream. How can they do this to people. I've sent them so much evidence from multiple sources, just read the paperwork and belive me and my drs. Why is it so hard?

Hi Jade
That is a long time. They are supposed to be prioritising new claims and those whose awards are about to run out. You certainly fit into the second category. I hope you hear soon
