It must have run out by now? Do you mind me asking if it is still in payment? Many thanks for your answer.

Yes, they are, but I am worried about whether they will stop if it's not sorted out by the end date which is 31.10.22. Thanks for your reply.

HI amandajane,
No you are not the only one. The whole system, although it has always seemed to be flawed, has took a real battering by the emergence of that nasty little virus - and I don't mean the DWP secretary!
Regards,
Phrank.

Hi amandajane,
I rang PIP the other day for up to date paperwork for the blue badge dept - which they had requested.
My PIP was extended this year without a letter confirming the new expiry date.
The chap at PIP stated if I’m not reviewed by the end date (Jan 2023), they will add a further 3 months automatically to my reward.
I returned my review in March 2022.
Hope this info helps.

Hello amandajane,
You are very welcome, I will post again once I have an update.
The Blue Badge Dept will reissue the BB with the extension letter (expiry Jan 2023) that I have now received from PIP.
Best wishes and stay safe.
