About 7 years ago I had an ISA, I changed this account into a savings account as needed access to ISA money as it was fixed and I couldn't withdraw from it.
I told ESA and sent proof of both accounts and change. They now say I have 3 accounts, a savings account, current account and a ISA with £16000.01p in
I have tried to show them I only have savings account and current account but they still refuse to change my ESA from contribution to income. Related.
I went to bank to see if they could provide proof isa closed and they said they can't go back that far anymore. What do I do now? They have just awarded me contributionary and I'm in support group. Any help gratefully received.x

Hi curliwhirli

Welcome to the forum.

You might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is; www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/guides-for-claimants/faq/forum

I am not sure what you are asking for, you cannot change CB ESA to IR ESA, what you can do is apply for IR ESA as a top up, if you qualify.

Most claimants who are on CB ESA and in receipt of D/L PIP will apply for premiums such as SDP, EDP. These premiums are paid to those in receipt of IR ESA, hence the top up.

You need to speak to your local Welfare Rights Organisation for help in resolving your dispute with ESA; you can find your local Welfare Rights Organisation to help you with advice by clicking on the link below and putting in your post code, it will then come up with a MAP with a list of agencies. advicelocal.uk
