Hi Nikki-White
It is never a waste of time going to a Tribunal, one of my clients last week attended a Tribunal.
They got zero points at the initial claim, zero points at the Mandatory Reconsideration.
At the Tribunal they received enhanced Daily Living and standard mobility, back dated to October 2021.

I got my decision today
8 points for daily living
4 points for mobility
So since my change of circumstance, i have went from
0 daily living
10 mobility
To
0 daily living
0 mobility
Not sure how I managed to lose the 10 mobility points but meh
My question is does it get back dated to when I made the change of circumstances or to just when the refused my request after the assesemnent

Hi Nikki-White
It should be backdated to the date you requested a change of circumstances.
If you were issued a review form then it would be backdated to the date of the decision.

It was a change of circumstances, so was still getting the standard mobility part
So not sure how that works

Hi Nikki-White
I take it you were awarded PIP at the tribunal.
If you look at the decision letter it will tell you when the award is from.
I am not sure if the mobility component from that date will offset the daily living component.

Its been awarded from when the original decision was made (i.e I lost the mobility and had to request a MR)
This was the 17th of March 2022, I put in the change of circumstances in June 2021
Do you know how long it may take the dwp to make the first payment after an appeal
