Will the banks info shared to the DWP show as a soft/hard search on claimants credit reports?

Hi Jane
The DWP does not supply information to credit reference agencies. I think you are asking the wrong question here as financial institutions supply a lot of personal client information directly to credit reference agencies.

Hi David,
I've probably got it back to front. However I feel you've answered my point. I was wondering although it doesn't apply to me if the data the banks give to DWP as the bank is supplying ( I understood the DWP can request info but not asking that) they are the ones compiling a synopsis of data to the DWP; therefore I'm considering the banks themselves are in effect doing financial checks !?!
