Jim Allison said a few weeks ago that there is no legal distance for dla walking test
is there an official dwp site/page that confirms this that can be printed off to take to
dla tribunal Thanks Steve
I am afraid not as there is no distance defined in the legislation.
There is Case Law that suggest that a distance of 50m should be used but this is not set in stone and longer distances can be accepted, I would not expect a shorter one to be however.
The Walking test is more than just the distance that can be walked before the claimant experiences severe discomfort, the speed, gait and whether they stumble and fall must also be considered.
