My limitations are actually reflected in the course itself, in a sense, and I'll explain this in more detail on the form. The student loan is strictly for fees, under the new 24+ scheme that FE colleges started running last year. There is no option for borrowing towards living costs with that type of loan. Do you have any idea if a purely fees-based student loan counts as income? Also, the hours are extremely part-time, less than 6 hours a week (when I'm able to attend).

I am afraid I think it likely that the fees will still be counted as income although I can't state this for certain.
