Sorry to make a saga of this, one last question.

I posted a letter recorded signed for yesterday to the DWP ending my claim. Will that be enough? I am not sure I can face telephoning them

I am not due my next payment from them until Wednesday March 18th.

Hi fl,

If you have informed them in writing that should be sufficient.

Make sure you keep your copy of the letter, your receipt of posting, and print off a copy of the signature and time of delivery from Royal Mail Track and Trace.

Keep them together in a safe place.

If you receive any payments of ESA that you feel that you are not entitled to, I recommend that you do not spend any of it, and contact ESA straight away.
