She also says she saw me walk from the doorway of my kitchen to the living room and sit in my armchair unaided for 5 metres ( I used a walking stick ) and my living room is only 4 metres square.
It was a really cold day when she called and she stayed about half hour, bombarding me with questions, which I did not feel I had time to answer all, Suddenly it was time to go,she could not move fast enough and in doing so forgot her scarf. Maybe it was she who quickly walked the
50 to 200 hundred metres that she claimed I can do, without stopping with severe breathlessness and stress with Copd... poor woman, I hope she bloody well froze to death.
Anyway my appeal date has come through for the 10 August... can not wait...Talk to you soon and thanks all...

Any way thank you Bro58.
Hi r9,
You're welcome,
The information and gradings that I have mentioned may well be in your wife's G.P. records, especially if she attends a COPD clinic at her G.P. practice or elsewhere, and has an annual Spirometry Test.
Requesting your medical records
Charging for medical records
Your G.P. may be willing to provide all the gradings and results in the form of a letter.
If she doesn't have the annual Spirometry Test, or attend a COPD clinic, she could check whether the provide this facility at her G.P. Practice.
Peak Flow Readings (PEFR) can be obtained from a "hand held" Peak Flow device, again you may be able to obtain one of these from your G.P.
Good luck.

Well I am a bit worried now my appeal is in two weeks and I have only just received my Doctors letter,After waiting six weeks, which I have sent to the tribunal
The worry is, its not a medical or any spirometry tests that have been carried out, he wanted £120 pounds for that information, which I could not afford, so he wrote me a letter stating I have had Copd for ten years or more and I also suffer shiatica for about the same length of time.
He also says I am at the severe stage level 4 and if they need any more info to contact him directly. This cost me £15 pounds. I am now worried this information will not be enough and will the tribunal actually contact my doctor for more info.
Thanking you for any feedback... Mick R.

Hi MR,
If you haven't attended any COPD clinics and/or had any Spirometry Tests how have you been diagnosed with Severe Stage COPD ?
If your G.P. has confirmed that you have Severe Stage COPD, one would assume that this diagnosis is the result of tests.
If you have, the results should be in your G.P. Medical Records which you can request from your G.P. Reception.
There will be a charge for this, see the blue links in the post above this one : Here and as far as I am aware the maximum charge is £50.
If you can't obtain any further evidence then you can only provide the evidence that you have which should ideally be with The Tribunal 7-10 days before the hearing.
If the Tribunal feel that they need further medical evidence to help them make a decision they can adjourn an request it.
