Hi
Just wanted to let you know that I plucked up the courage to call again- 6 weeks away from my due re-assessment date of January 2016 - and hooray it has been moved to 2018.
I'm aware that ESA re-assessments have started again, so here's hoping it's a very slow process.
Thanks to all for the info and encouragement.

I had my last ESA assessment defered form Oct 15 to Oct 17 so I knew I must be due an ESA 50 sometime soon. I have rung the DWP twice recently to ask when my claim was due to be reassessed and on both occasions I was told that there is no date showing for when its due.
Have you any idea what this means? or should I just go ahead and start preparing anyway. Your advice would be appreciated.

You have replied to a post from 19 months ago!
If you original reassessment date was deferred then it's very unlikely that this will happen again, I'm afraid I don't know what the empty reassessment date on your computer record means.
If they do intend to reassess you in October then I would expect you to receive a new ESA50 in late September or possibly the beginning of October.

thank you for your reply Gordon
I sent my query on my own original ESA post.
Sorry if I did it incorrectly. I thought you wanted all ESA queries on one post.
I will try to get it right next time.

It's absolutely not a problem, but we wouldn't have minded if you had started a new topic after all that time, it's members who start a new post for every question or each day that cause the Mods extra work,
