In fairness to the JC+ staff, I know, it it's not easy, but they do not have access to the claimants medical information on the DWP computer system, all they know is that they have made a claim for a sickness benefit, so they are reliant on the claimant explaining how they are effected.

The people who need to know the most about their claimants, and refer them to appropriate support, work activity etc get told nothing. Yet decision makers who will never meet the claimants know all the details. But don't share. crazy.

My advisors a lucky man, hes gonna get a written summarised detail of exactly how my condition affects me, and what reasonable adjustments I need. Just so we remain on the same page :silly:

A nice lady called Norma made a few interviews for me. Hubby called and cancelled the first one explaining that I was unwell, only an hour before the due time because I forgot. The next time she rang and asked me if I wanted to cancel, apparently the computer automatically sends these things out until it gets notification you are in the support group.

She explained it was entirely voluntary but should I ever want to see her or talk after my assessment to give her a call.
