I've just used that link and found out my MP is BORIS! Yes, the Mayor of London himself.

Is it possible to have an MP intervene between an MR rejection and an actual appeal?

On what basis?

You need to understand that an MP cannot interfere in a legal process, they can make a nuisance of themselves and this can sometimes result in the DWP expediting one claim over another in terms of resources, knowing that an MP is watching them may make them more careful in regard to processing a claim and looking at the evidence.

However, if an MR has been completed then there is no legal requirement for the DWP to carry out a second or subsequent MR, they do have an obligation to re-visit the claim before the appeal is heard and the claimant has made their submission, but this should happen anyway in the week before the hearing and is unlikely to be influenced by an MP.
