Would a GP refer to and write about what is on the private occupational therapist's report if ATOS asked?
Ask the GP!

Strange question I know, but my son would not be able to get to an assessment centre and I cannot face having unfamiliar medical people in my home, due to phobias . Do you think my son could have a home visit arranged at his father's house? Have you ever heard of anything like this sort of arrangement?
I have to admit that I have never heard of this being done and I think the Assessment Provider would likely argue that if he can go this other place then he can attend at their offices, however, you lose nothing by asking, but I would get the home assessment agreed first and then try to change the venue. It will need to be very near to your home, to avoid the above argument and the assessor being able to fit it in to their schedule.

As this is a first claim you will need to provide convincing evidence for a paper assessment to be done.
