PIP REVIEW FORM AKA "INTERVENTION"

OMG OMG OMG!!!

Hi , B&W!!!!!

No I have not received my brown envolpe in the post today , but tomorrow is my PIP day , so I checked to see if the BACS was still there....and it is!!!! But not for the £87 ..but £1,300!!

this can only mean I have been awarded PIP with one of the daily living component ????

I will let you know in the next couple of days , once the letter is in my hand !!

well , i rang PIP, and yes they have awarded me standard rate Living , Standard rate Mobility!!! so that is a gain !! Big time !! I was on standard mobility only, after an appeal last year. !!

Thank You so so much Benefits and Work !! Your service and provision of help and guidance is out standing!! I am in no way happy this illness has bought me down , I have taken a long long time to get this point .and your guides and forum have given me immense help and guidance...even when i wanted to chuck it all in...but i would say to anyone, dont be put off , just keep trying...more ppl are missing out on what they are entitled to,

our circs have changed now :
I am a carer , with CA underlying entitlement only, no payment.
I get ESA (CB) in the support group .
OH on DLA HR care HR Mob ...
also on ESA CB in Support Group. He has a pension of 0.99p a week.
we are in council housing. After 2 .5 years appealing ...we are bedroom tax exempt .
I pay towards my rent and council tax as we do not get full HB and CT as we are not on Income Related ESA.

As OH helps me etc ...can he now get CA underlying entitlement? , we are looking after each other 24/7 .
Is it worth claiming ESA Income Related again or not?
which one would be best to make a claim ?
once i get letter ...i will scan and send to HB department.

Following PIP assessment , I did request copy of medical , with the view i would be turned down. However , i now have my letter through and I scored 9 points on living , and 8 points on mobility ! skin and teeth come to mind.

the copy of medical report came thorough. made me laugh out loud, seriously ?? " can communicate, talks to her Husband " thats it, one line!

" has a degree in Social Policy " this is repeated 3 times down the page. what the ??? lol!
At the time he said, when he asked " it was not relevant , he was just interested"
I said "good , because I have a physical disability, not a learning disability"
the Up shot is...if they ask it..they will add it ..

and so it goes on, I have been given until 2018.

Intresting point though, not happened before. I received the decison letter dated 20th July on the 23rd July. On the same day I received a Housing Benefit /Council Tax benefit letter , dated 20 July also , awarded full HB CTB as the SDP was now added on the applicable amount. On the same day, I received also a "change of circs" form from ESA, inviting us to claim ESA income related. !!!!!! never ever , has THAT happened !! Never!!

So my OH has applied for Carers Allowance, after all he is the one who dails 999 and looks out for me on my bad flare ups.

I have updated HB / CTB - They requested proof after decision ?? left arm? right arm??

I have completed ESA3 and the ESA "change of circs " and posted both off.

Just wait and see.
I have recommended your site to a few friends who are struggling with re assessment process.
