compliance interview was created by Alex
Hi everyone, was wondering if anyone had any experience of a letter from dwp about attending a compliance interview, in the local office. It's asking me to take various pieces of paperwork to confirm my identity.

We've seen a lot of these lately!

Are you in the ESA Support Group? They seem to be targeting SG members!

In the vast majority of cases the claimant has been selected at random.

If you are unable to attend at their offices you are entitled to ask them to come to your home, this often results in the "interview" being carried out over the phone.

You can have someone with you at the interview, we would recommend that you do, if only for moral support.

Can i ask why they are going for people in the SG? I am in this under 'risk' and find this a bit worrying.

yes had lots of dealings with them.. go to www.whatdotheyknow.com/ there you will find compliance, fraud & error service guidelines .
They have very little powers if any ! everyone's circumstances are different so must be dealt with in ones own way.

Know i know how they work, who they are, what their actual capabilities are & their own rules & regs,, in layman's terms i tell them to bugger orfff had two on the doorstep other week i refuse to sign anything or elaborate as that is my right & i know my own business.

Being reported triggers a visit either from another person but mostly now from the IT systems set up cross referencing information, HMRC (banks), credit agency's, utilities, Internet tv packages etc etc

It's because the JC+ staff have no other reason to contact members of the SG as they are excused all WFIs and WRA.

Hi ,yes I am. I have also recently been diagnosed with having inferior infarction and I am waiting to see a cardiologist, I'm stressed out as it is, without this. The letter is dreadfully worded. Why can't they stop hounding people
