ESA CONTRIBUTION REASSESSMENT

Hi, apologies if this already been answered. Can you please tell me how long can you be in ESA Cont Support Group before being reassessed? Thank you for all advice that is on here. Also the help from people since I joined the site. That hey are still here giving up their time to give such valuable advice.

Irrespective of whether it is contributory or income-related, claimants are usually given a maximum of 3 years in the Support Group before reassessment (although the award is actually indefinite). However, the system became terribly backlogged a couple of years ago and many reassessments were suspended. Therefore we are seeing claimants who have gone much more than 3 years without getting the dreaded ESA50 form dropping through the letterbox

The backlog has now been cleared, reassessments have recommenced and many people are getting the forms

Also she found Gordons post on change of address can be made obviously by recorded delivery and post will be directed. Apologies for the way the way my query was raised.
