I'm afraid there are no limits on the number of times the Assessment Provider can cancel an appointment.

Hi Feathers sorry you are having such a bad time with your assessment - I really recommend that you read the ESA guides before you attend again. My belief is that they assess you from the moment you get out of the car, how long it takes you to walk into the centre,can you sit still in your case 2hrs without standing up because you are stiff, whether you can carry your handbag, pick it up off the floor. All these actions show if you can bend or stretch.

My assessor was really nice but I still felt I was under a microscope so just beaware - read the guides and you will be alright. Good luck

Thanks, petpud, yes I have read the guidelines. I'm getting quite paranoid about the whole thing, whether the wait is deliberate to see how you cope, how you react when you are told they can't see you etc. Now waiting for third date. Still no wiser as to what the missing papers could be. Glad your assessor was nice.
