I'm glad to hear that those assessing you used documentation from your previous claims, if this is a change in process from the DWP then it is a welcome one, however, I see no indication of this from the forum, if indeed assessor have access to previous records then in the vast majority of claims they are not accessing them!

So our advice remains the same, if members want the DWP and assessors to make used of information from a previous claim then they need to include it with their claim forms, at least that way it will be seen and they also have a chance to integrate it into their responses on that claim form as well.

dont really know how this is useful when last years medical did not have all the new up to date info, however i am still waiting on a reply from atos customer services on a complaint that esa forwarded to them ,however i did receive a invite to attend my local security office for a work related activity interview ,might i say now the last one i was called to was 3 years ago when the lady in question could not understand why i was even there because of how ill i was ,this time again another lady just wrote down my illnesses and wrote i was to unwell to consider work and dosent want to see me until 6 months ,can i use this in my appeal as they keep stating that i am well enough to be in the wrag group, yet the people who are supposed to help people in the wrag group say there is nothing they can do because i am to unwell to be considered for work related activity

  			 				Hi Helen,

Qualifying for the Support Group has little directly to do with being unwell and everything to do with meeting the specific criteria. It is perfectly possible to be considered too unwell to participate in WRA but still not meet the criteria for the SG

I suggest that you remind yourself of those criteria so that you have it clear in your mind how and why you qualify

i believe i met the criteria because i can not mobilise 20 meters or more without suffering chronic discomfort and chronic pain due to prolasped disc in lower back and sciatica down leg and also Arthritis in knee, there are also other disabling illnesses but these are the ones i am concentrating on ,also because of other ailments to propel a wheelchair would not be possible
