As long as you are happy, that's fine by us!

I think I got 'Name' and 'User Name' round the wrong way when I created the profile.
Anyway, that's not really my real name either!

Following last week's devastating news I am having to request a mandatory reconsideration of my PIP claim. I phoned on Friday and spoke to someone who said that a member of the team would contact me shortly to go through it. I told her that I will also be submitting the request in writing and and I have asked for a copy of the HP report.
My question is:
How much information do I need to give on the letter for a mandatory reconsideration?
Some of the samples I have read are literally just a few lines asking for the claim to be looked at again.
Other letters I have seen go into far greater detail but I am confused as to whether they are full appeal letters or not.
The OCD part of me is inclined to begin writing writing an essay the size of War and Peace about the entire ghastly experience but the practical side of me is thinking it may not be necessary at this stage!

Hi Dee,
I have merged your query with the previous topic relating to your PIP as it helps us enormously when everything relating to the same claim is kept in one place.
You do not need to go into great detail when you first request the MR. However, at some stage, you will need to show how and why you score points on the descriptors. Whether you choose to do this straight away or after the report arrives is up to you.
Our PIP guide also talks you through the MR process.

If you have further questions/comments about your PIP, please reply to this message and we will do our best to help,. You will find it easily in future if you bookmark/favourite it on your web browser now
