Hi Alison. Sorry for the late response. They are meant to ask about the time of assessment not the present. To be honest. It was a sham and I feel that they had already decided before I got there. I was also the last appointment and I feel they were rushing. I had 2 dizzy episodes whilst there and although they said to take my time. I felt rushed. I feel they didn't pay attention to my heart issues either or the fact I am always in pain. I have morphine patches and they still don't manage the pain. Like you I can't take anti inflams so it's hard to find pain medication that works. If I had to go through it again I would make sure I try and explain fully how my conditions affect my life. The disability adviser asked how I manage with my son yet this is not really relevant. I actually feel that they would have taken it all off me if they could have done but because I had been assessed by social services and have several aids and adaptations they had to award points.
I am just going to reapply becaus I can't stand the stress of it any longer. I have some new medical evidence from scans and once I have seen the spinal specialist. I will tell them about my change.
Thanks for replying. I hope you win your appeal. Please let me know how you get on xx

hi jo,.
i sent all my info off monday recorded ,so just have to wait now to hear back from them not sure how long that takes its anyones guess i suppose,. ,, the wefare rights worker i previously got hold of has been of no help ,once she has rang me and ive emailed loads time but not a reply back,. i no shes only back part time so is probably inundated with people needing her advice and help , but even so feel a bit let down as was told when i fist rang that she would be back in work end july full time ,but isnt recoverd yet fully so ive decided now rather than sitting about waiting to hear back ive had my daughter to help me gather info on my medical side of it and done my own submissions ,,had to send them bk before the 28th so thats out the way now ,,ime absoulutely dreading going to appeal i dont feel possitive about it at all, so i guess by going in thinking that way. if i dont succeed then it wont be so dissapointing ,. , i do hope when you put in a new claim that you dont get put through all this again ,its very trying, stressfull. and one thing for sure down right unfair, ,i have posted a new topic in forums,. it a petition for parliment in the way atos and capita are getting away with what they are doing ,, be great if you could sign and pass it on ,, thanks jo,.. and ile keep u informed how i get on , ,thanks for you advice and support ,
