WCA -had to cancel due to further medical evidence

Hi Gordon

Sent new evidence & new GP letter packs to Maximus and DWP at beginning of October.

Mum received award notice for ESA SG from DWP in April this year.

She received WCA notice from Maximus in August (4 months after award) for WCA date in September which she could not attend and was cancelled by me.

They sent a new appointment for October but I rang and informed them that I had sent a new information pack to be read before the appointment. Receptionist said that she would cancel the new appointment in order for the new information to be read.

No news since. Mum is stressed, ill and agitated.

Sister and myself are also stressed and having to run around chasing new medications up for Mum's disease flare-ups due to all this. We also both work full time.

Confused now.

What next?

Hi Gordon,

Sister just called me to say she has seen a notice on another website stating that patients in the ESA SG cannot be called for WCA and that there is a template letter to copy/send to DWP /Maximus stating that you are being unduly harassed.

She wants me to send it.

What do you think?
