WCA -had to cancel due to further medical evidence

Think its VERY IMPORTANT you speak to your doctor and get a letter containing what Gordon has said

You maybe able to get a phone triarge appt with her doctor, this is when they ring you back on the phone. Explain to him that you need a letter which deals directly with what Gordon says and make sure you quote the exact words above. Explain that they will not allow anything less to get a home visit. Details of condition alone are not enough as Gordon says.

Concentrate on this one thing alone rather than worrying and once you have that you can send a COPY ( Maybe surgery will give you couple of spare copies if you ask nicely LOL)
Then send one by 1st Class Registered post to the assessor company, hold onto that receipt from post office. THEN Ring the office of the company telling them you have a letter from doctors, have it handy so you can read out on phone if they ask you.
In My opinion you should NOT TRY to attend the assessment when your mum is so ill (bless her sure she's a lovely lady too) but take these steps immediately and the pressure will start to lift when you then get a home visit arranged. YOU MUST ACT FAST if your appointment is for next week and key is getting a doctors letter, he would have dome it in good faith, but am sure will have no problem in getting you what you need.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I cannot get a Dr. appointment today. I have to ring back on Monday morning to try again.

Also, my apologies, I got it wrong, the new WCA is 7/10/16, so I may just have time to get a Dr. letter stating she cannot travel?

Many surgeries offer telephone appointments, you might not actually need to see the GP in person if s/he knows your mother well.

Hi everyone.

Just going through mum's notes/letters. She received letter in April to say she has been migrated from IB to ESA (SG). Although it states only until November this year. Also, she has another letter from somewhere else stating she was awarded DLA (both High rates) in February this year!

Has a mistake been made? Should she be called for WCA?
