Thank you for replying. I first received the appointment letter 29/9/2016 and I attended the assessment 13/10/2016.
What bothers me is that they said in the letter I received today dated 13/10/2016 so sent the day of the appointment. That I had telephoned them and that I waived the 7 day requirement for the appointment. Which is untrue. I was just worried if they have that on a letter what else would they have got wrong. I just worry over all of this. That they can write and say you have done something when I never did. I do suffer from anxiety and ME plus a load of over illnesses and disabilities which causes me to stress over things.
Please do a SAR (Subject Access Request) Section 7 of the Data Protection Act and ask specifically for the Audit Trail.
I know too well how both dwp and atos can make people very ill, I, myself became very ill because of those companies. People should not be suffer like that when you are already suffering from illnesses and disabilities. Please I would say to make your life easy when dealing with dwp and atos to record every telephone conversation you have with them. I had the same thing they've say I this and that when I didn't but fortunately for me I've recorded my conversations they quickly kept quiet and walked away when the recording was played back to them and I got what it's needed for my friend. Copy every single letters or form you send them both also.
Hope this helps

It's not a problem with members giving advice but you need to read the OP's post properly, they have already had an assessment!

Thank you Gordon, I have read through the OP's post properly and aware they've had their assessment already but I felt it was important to let others who are new to PIP knows that they can have a home face-to-face assessment if they wish it and that first time appointment can be cancelled and a new one re-scheduled that suits them.
It is not fair that people should suffer so much like that.
