I've found my dla form from 2001 but even though everything is the same but a lot worse and getting worse. I got a letter today Saturday and at first I thought it was to say I was still on my dla thought they just changed it over from my dla to pip. But it wasn't it was just to say about changes to Mty old dla was staying indefinitely.
We would usually say that getting face to face advice from a trained advisor is a good thing, but remember this is your claim and only you profit or lose by the result. so if there are things that the advisor says that you don't understand or like, then ask.

The vast majority of PIP claimants have to have a face assessment.
