Thanks for your reply, and I have taken your advise and made sure that they know it is physical help not just aids that I need. The HP gave me the 8 points so I am hoping at least they won't take those away. I have a letter from my GP and two more specialist letters, so I am hoping they will take notice of them?
When I phoned, they lady on the phone did not warn at all that I may lose points, so I asked her twice if that was the case. Twice she just replied ' someone else will look at them'. Why so vague, should she have not warn me?
I do appreciate your help, I suffer from anxiety and I am suffering big time over all of this.

The lady on the phone works in a call centre and is not involved in the reconsideration process in any way, it's likely she was unaware that claimants could lose points as well as gain them.

I have applied for a PIP Mandatory review. I have read a lot of other peoples comments about phoning to ask for a review and the DWP say they will phone them to discuss it.
They didn't state that with me,so the question is do they phone everyone when they put in for a review?
Thank you

They used to phone a lot of claimants now they rarely do.. We do recommend confirming the request in writing.

I have asked for a mandatory review as I was only given standard living allowance. Can you tell me whether you will continue getting PIP payments while they make up their minds?
Thank you

Yes, if an award was made then you should continue to receive that while the MR is carried out.
