16 weeks is reasonable from what we are currently seeing in the forum.

What is the usual wait for a letter or phone call for my f2f assessment..
Can I also ask: Since not moving around for so long it was inevitable I would put weight on.
I am overweight, not massively, (3 stones) will this have a bearing on my assessment? I was thin initially when I first got DLA, its just not being mobile.

I'd expect an appointment letter 2-4 weeks after returning the form for a date 2-3 weeks further out.

Due to the Christmas Holidays & New Year Holiday period we received an extension to the time frame for it's return - (I argued that we didn't have the luxury of getting evidence together in good time - relying on Doctors/Clinics/Hospital Records during party season

We returned the PIP 'How Your Disability Affects You' Form on 16th February and received our Face 2 Face Appointment for 9th March.
The process, so far has taken 12 weeks - last week our Assessor told us that we should hear in about 8 weeks - I don't know whether there might be hold ups in different areas (we are West Wales) - but do know that, as of today, our F2F Assessors Report has yet to be received by the DWP.
