Hi mobbba,
Welfare rights told us 16 weeks too. It's approaching the 11th week now, & a recent assessor said the wait will be 4-8 weeks.

Hi Centreduba
Thank you for your reply. Yes looking at all the questions regarding the time element it appears that there is no set time limits anywhere.
I am into my seventh week now. I am hoping I do not have a problem, but with all the stories regarding f2f I am worried as I will not be confident expressing myself.
Take care

Yes l know what you mean in not putting across what you want when one is having a f2f as if l am called for a assessment my carer will be with me and will make sure we get my points across..

Just wanted to say I live on the Wirral and I sent my pip application off with all the information I could get hold of off my GP and all my specialists on 13/2/17 and I am still waiting I was told it can take up to 16 weeks, and I don't have any finger nails left

My mother's DLA to Pip form came before Xmas. They received it back on 3rd January. Home assessment on 27th Feb and decision dated 9th March. She was awarded enhanced rate for both with an ongoing award. So was a quick enough process.
