I assume that this is for JSA, has your benefit been re-instated?

Hi Gordon,
I was on temporary JSA but was also on an extended period of sickness ( 13 weeks) when this occurred. They sanctioned ( suspended) actually 4 days before the Interview even took place. JSA was never reinstated - they never told me about the sanction/suspension so I didn't appeal and they shut down my claim. Ive had no choice but to ask for a assessment rate ESA, whilst awaiting Tribunal im unsure if its considered a 'new claim'

It's up to you whether you appeal the Decision on your JSA or not, but they cannot sanction you for failing to participate in a call before the actual date of the call.
