PIP re-assessment

She still has some time to go before she has to re-apply for PIP in the normal course of events
If we ask for them to look at it again now because of a change in circumstances will they stop her current PIP payments when they receive the application, or do they continue until a new decision is made about the changed circumstances?
My daughter is worried that her payments will suddenly stop if we pursue this course.
