I am in two minds whether to cancel it. It's just so stessful I am not going to be able to attend an oral hearing.
I am worried of losing the points that I already have. Has anyone had this happen to them?
Thanks again.
The Judge of your hearing must warn you if there is a risk to your current award so that you can withdraw the appeal.

Kim wrote: Thank you. So basically it will only go ahead if the judge thinks you are inclined to win?
I'm sorry but that is not what I said!
The panel can award the same points, they can award more, they even award different points, whether this results in an increased award will depend on the totals awarded.

Can you tell me at what point in the appeal the judge would contact me and warn me there is a risk of losing my award so that I can withdraw? Would ot just be right before the appeal goes ahead?
Thanks

If you attend then I would expect the Judge would speak to you immediately before the hearing, if you have opted for a Paper hearing then I would expect the Judge to write you.
