Just a quick query. How long can an ESA, PIP Award be granted for?

Before being reviewed again ?

ESA is an indefinite award so technically there is no end date, ignoring deferments, the maximum time between reassessments is two years for the WRAG and three years for the Support Group. The Government have said that they intend to remove the need for reassessment for some member of the SG, there are no details of which claimants this will apply to, the announcement will be some time after the summer.

The longest award for PIP is an On-Going award, we don't yet know how the DWP will handle these yet, as there is a reference to a reassessment after 10 years.
