Hi,
Is there an approximate timeframe for Pip Mandatory reconsiderations? Does the new decision maker look at it and make a decision or is the whole thing sent back to Atos first to look at? I'm just wondering that if new medical evidence is sent it, will the DM make a decision, or do they just let Atos look again? I have absolutely no faith in the system anymore!
Thankyou.

Average times are 5-8 weeks although it can be longer.

If the DM thinks that there is compelling new medical evidence then they will send your file back to ATOS for an updated report, this may delay the process, a new Decision will then be made when the DWP receive the information back. If the DM does not think they need further medical advice then they will simply make a new Decision.
