Your request for a Mandatory Reconsideration, needs to be done in writing to the DWP, within one month of the Decision, to the office that dealt with your claim, have a look at our PIP MR & Appeal guide for details of the process, the PIP area also has template letters that you can use to make the request with.

Your primary task is to show that you meet the criteria for an Enhanced DL award. Concentrate first on showing the you meet the criteria to score the 12 points or more, then deal with the assessment report. Concentrate on issues that effect the points you scored, issues such as grammar and spelling may indicate that the assessor was unprofessional but won't score you points, wherever you can refer back to your evidence to show that what they have written is incorrect.
I know you sent in something before the Decision but you may need to repeat yourself.

Thank you for your offer. I can't speak for Mrs H but if you really want to do something for us and you really don't need to, but if you do then I would ask you to make a donation to one of the charities that support children with illnesses or Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Thank you
Gordon

We usually say 2-4 weeks although members are reporting some delays at the moment.

You are even better. My F2F was 25/07 and I had nothing meanwhile . Today I've got the DECISION. 11points for daily living and 12 for mobility. -to a set time- 12/03/19. I spent already 6 months to deal with it but after one year ( in peace) I must renew this nightmare .chuckycat wrote: i am still waiting for my decision my face to face assessment was 16th august ive had a letter saying they have all the information that they needed .
