They are required to complete a form, I think it is an FRR4 when they speak to a claimants medical contacts, this should be included in your file when it is returned to the DWP.

So far no contact from Capita. Apparently they are phoning to find out about my functionality. Does that mean they are going to go through the whole claim for again?

Update
After 7 months of waiting they finally made a decision. Enhanced Mobility and Standard Care for 2 years. One point away from Enhanced care.
Thanks for all your help Gordon as without the guides and advice, I would have been lost.

Have any members done an MR regarding the period of PIP award, and have had any success in getting a longer award?
I have been awarded PIP for 2 years, so will start all over again in a years time
