Yes, that was what I was also going to mention in the complaint. It also makes it very difficult for my daughter to come with me as she works in London and had come up for the weekend. Now I am worried that as the date they have now given me in a letter is a provisional date (hedging their bets!
), it may be another expensive and wasted journey for her.
So, you have no experience or advice about making a complaint to the Parliamentary and Health Ombudsman and what that might achieve for all of us waiting considerable periods of time without benefits for appeal dates....?

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Only that it will be a long process and totally separate from your appeal.

:-D Ah, I see, now I begin to understand why you responded in the way you did. But in that case, I am not sure why I was advised to do so by another disability benefits advisor! Perhaps I am expecting too much, but I did think that the benefits and work forum would be more communicative and forthcoming...not that I mean it should tell me what I want to hear but I did not understand your reasons for responding in the way you did. However, I must admit the stress of all this is impairing my cognitive abilities. So that may be it.
