HI My pal had a PIP medical 3 weeks ago..at ATOS in Sunderland..2 weeks and 1 day later ATOS phoned him & said ALL the computer crashed on that day and they were calling him back for another medical..this was around 3pm on a Friday and they asked him to attend 10am ( next working day..which he refused...he was given a new date 2 weeks from the phone call..is this legal ? should he make a complaint ?..the stress is torture fro him...any advice please..

I would certainly make a complaint to ATOS but unfortunately their claim cannot be progressed unless ATOS can make a recommendation to the DWP and they can't do that without the notes from the first assessment.
