Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

You will need to show the relevance of the PIP award, etc., there are limited areas of overlap between the two benefits, there is a document in the ESA area that covers this.

Thanks I'll go and have a read .
To be honest I think I'm going to need to read everything again as the last time has become a bit of a blur

Hello again guys
I still haven't heard anything back from the questionnaire I sent in months ago, but I guess that's because everything was put on hold for a few months.
But its got me thinking......
If they were not planning on sending me a letter to attend a medical examination, wouldn't they have just sent me a letter to say they have made a decision based on what I sent in?

Yes but that assumes your file has got to the top of the pile and it is far more likely that it is still in the middle of it.

I just thought I would give a bit of a update.
I've had a telephone assessment for my ESA last week and I'm now awaiting the decision letter.
I really can't see how they can make an accurate assessment over the phone but I guess this would be good grounds for appeal?

Hi Stressed.
Glad to hear that you have had your assessment. I think the jury is out on telephone assessments. Some people prefer them and some people dislike them. I think it also depends on the result. I hope that you get the result you are hoping for.
