Letter regarding ESA contribution based was created by negevdesert
HI , I am new to this forum and hope somebody will be able to help.
I have received letter regarding my contribution based ESA asking to fill in a form for possible income related ESA.
I was originally on incapacity benefits and was transferred to ESA in September 2015 without any assessment as I have MS and have been on IB since 2002.
It says that you shouldn't apply if your partner is working 24 hours or more. My husband works on 0 contract hour so difficult to say how many hours he works but he makes less than £16000.
Should I call them and what difference could it make?
I already have top up payment for living expences.
Would I be worst off?
Completely lost.
Any advice please?

Have a look at the following which explains why you have received this form.

The £16,000 is not in regard to your husband's income but is rather about your total assets and savings.
