After much waiting, I have been granted a Paper Based Assessment due to letter from GP. I am very glad of this as the office was in a really bad place and I suffer from a lot of anxiety and more so as recently bereaved and mugged in a car park for being disabled only 5 weeks ago.
Can you tell me whether if people can score No Points on a Paper Based review or will I get something even if downgraded. Many thanks
I'm afraid there is no guarantee of an award with a PBA but there are only two reasons why one would be done, they have sufficient, relevant information to make a recommendation to the DWP or the there is no evidence of a disability in the first place, given the trouble you have had getting a PBA I think it very unlikely that it is the second reason.
