ATOS cancelled my home assessment at short notice saying there was conflict of interest. I asked if it was somebody who knew me and they said yes, now I look at everybody including family members in the health service. its awful. I agree if true I wouldn't want somebody who knew me to do the assessment as it would be difficult for both of us. However I do think they know how much stress it causes to cancel at the last moment and rearrange for two weeks later its all part of the process.
