I understand that ESA is replaced by the State Pension when I reach retirement age. But what happens to the following additional payments I receive at the moment? : 1. Extra money I get because I am severely disabled - £64.30. 2. Extra money I get because of the Disability Income Guarantee - £16.40 3 Extra money because I am in the support group £ 37.65 Do I suddenly stop needing this money simply because I have aged?
These are paid as part of your ESA so they will stop when you reach State Retirement Age, however, if you are eligible for Pension Credit then you can continue to receive the "extra money because you are severely disabled".
