Hello, I am puzzled about Q11 of the PIP Claim form, Mixing with other people, in terms of deafness. I have has hearing loss all my life, and spent most of my life avoiding or enduring social situations in which I struggled to hear what people were saying. I do now have a middle ear hearing implant, but still struggle in many situations to hear people. On a PIP advice sheet produced by Action for Hearing Loss they say almost nothing at all for Q11, which puzzles me. Any suggestions/advice welcome. Thank you.

It's surprising that they do not, whilst it is not mentioned directly in the Descriptors hearing loss would be a significant factor in a claimant's ability to interact with others in a social situation and there is Case Law in support of this.
