I'm afraid so, there is an online appeal system being rolled out but we have no idea of what differences it will make to timescales as it offers quicker resolution to simple appeals but it may introduce additional delays to more complex ones.

It's currently available in Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, East Sussex, Hertfordshire, Kent, the Midlands, Norfolk, Oxfordshire, Suffolk.
