DLA to PIP was created by Steve3961uk
Just had a letter saying lost the mobility component but the care component is fine. Lots of lies in the report but worry if go to MR that could lose what have been awarded. What advice can people offer and do people know of organisations that can help with paperwork. All stressful for us all and should be straight forward to go from DLA to PIP. Hi Steve

There is always a risk if you go for a Mandatory Reconsideration that you could lose part of your award, however, a lot of people still go for an MR. Only you can make the decision. If you believe you should have been awarded something for mobility and you have the evidence to back it up - then you might decide that's what you want to do.

You can read more about it in our guide - scroll down the page to PIP Appeals

Citizen's Advice Bureau - help with paperwork. Otherwise, you will need to google benefit advisors in your local area.
