Can anyone advise?
Found a document on DPAC website stating that Professionals can request that the claimant does not have to go through a F2F assessment if it would cause a substantial risk to the claimants health.
It's dated 2017 though, can anyone advise if this is still valid?

All I can say is that it is not invalid.
I've tried to find the letter on the DPAC site without success.
There are two issues that the Assessment Provider needs to consider before they do a Paper Based Review.
- Is there sufficient information available or that can be sourced in order for them to produce an assessment report.
- Is there a risk to the physical or mental health of the claimant if they are required to attend a face to face assessment.
Both of these will require up to date medical evidence to have any reasonable prospect of being successful.
