Sorry I didn't know how to retrieve my last post to add this to :(

is this wording o.k?

Dear Sir/madam

Please note: - This is NOT a request for a Mandatory Reconsideration, but I reserve the right to do so once a Decision has been made.

Dear Sir/Madam,
Thank you for sending a copy of my assessor’s report. I have a query on the preparing food descriptor.
I feel that it should be descriptor 1E, Needs supervision and assistance. This is because I cannot chop vegetables or move/lift pans safely around the kitchen The assessor has awarded me 2B on taking nutrition for cutting up food because of my wrist/arthritis and I feel that 1E should be for the same reason.
Kind Regards

Hi TraceyTracey.

You need to address it to the Decision Maker. So either put 'for the attention of the 'Decision Maker' or replace Sir/Madam with it.

Although you don't want to write reams, I would explain why you need the supervision and assistance for the preparing food descriptor and then make the point about 2B. Don't leave it to them to have to check it out - much easier to say it clearly.

My tuppence worth.

I would not write to the Decision Maker at this time. This is not about the points but the award that you get, by questioning the report you might change a rubber stamp of the recommendation into a review of how you meet the criteria.

O.k Gordon, that makes sense.

It is always difficult to know what to for the best :( but I haven't posted letter yet, something was holding me back :) .
I will wait for the decision to come through and deal with from there.
I suppose I am just hoping that I won't have to deal with MR then appeal like last time. (I raised the same point last time and they withdrew my award, but judge overturned).
I will stop assuming this will happen and cross that bridge when I come to it.
Thank you both x
