Wrong Pip desciptor chosen was created by Joey123
Hi there. I appealed the length of my PIP award and I have had it changed from a short award to an ongoing award. However looking at the descriptors chosen they have chosen the wrong descriptor for one of the activities. Now I'm sure this is just a clerical error as they have already agreed on another descriptor for this activity. Whats the best and quickest way to tell them about this. Should i write a letter pointing this out, telephone them or go through the whole appeals process again.

Hi there. It never went to a tribunal. The DWP changed descriptor.

Hi there. What do you mean by affected? Yes they sent me the decision letter saying that my pip award would be ongoing but i noticed they had chosen the wrong descriptor for one of the activities.

Was the award reduced as a result of the wrong Descriptor being chosen?
If it wasn't then I do not see the value of contacting the DWP, you have your award for an On-Going period.
