First, I am not asking you to speculate, just to help on basis of your previous experience.
I was re-awarded PIP in Jan 2017 after interview with "ongoing" status. Can you give any hint as to when I could be expecting to get the dreaded forms for a re-assessment of my claim?
I've heard periods like 5 or 10 years banded about but I don't know and it really helps me not to be surprised too much by manilla envelopes!
Also, whenever it happens, would I likely qualify for "light touch" assessment!? If so, does this have any practical meaning, or should claimant fill & provide evidence as if a new claim?
If you have received an 'ongoing' award and there was not a specific date on your letter you can expect it to be at the ten-year mark.
It has been stated that those with ongoing conditions will receive a 'light touch review' - however, no details have yet been published about what exactly that means.
