I have good reasons to make a complaint; to cut a long story short, I wasn't sent the DWP's letter asking for further information and then they refused to pay the claim. I asked for a mandatory recnsideration and then they moved the goal posts about the information they required. It dragged on for over a year until an appeal was heard. The DWP didn't turn up.
Is it worth making a complaint? Would there a risk of recriminations?
I'm afraid I can't say whether you should make a complaint or not, if you feel that there was maladministration by the DWP and that you have suffered financially as a result then you should seriously consider doing so.
There will be no recriminations if you do.
