Sorry one further. Class 2 vol showing as paid on on line gateway for 2018-19 however DWP say it's definitely not zhowing on their system and basically not their problem. Is this usual I'm wondering ? Was paid Jan as I say so ample time one would imagine. Not yet had any dealing with DWP that has been remotely straightforward. So easy to give in. Quite possibly the objective. Thanks again.
The DWP get a listing from HMRC every year but it is likely that they would have received the one for 2018-19 in mid to late 2019 and that is why it is not showing, you need to contact HMRC yourself and get whatever document will show that you have the necessary NICs or Credits and then send it to the DWP.
